  30. SurveySoft will accept directions as bearing or angle turned, but not azimuth.
  31. Zenith is optional, but inclination is not accepted.  Closure may be by transit
  32. rule or compass rule.  Acreage is calculated, assuming distances to be in
  33. feet.  Data is saved only as northings and eastings (field data is not
  34. preserved), and closing destroys the original data.  No attempt is made to plot
  35. a map, altho you can scale the coordinates so that you can hand plot without
  36. having to do the scaling yourself.
